This missions month you are going to hear many stories. You will hear from Fayak about those in the Arab world who made a decision for Christ which resulted in suffering and rejection. You will from Chuck CY Kwok about the joy and the cost of discipleship. You will hear from Mak Sanglir about children who now have a chance in this world because of the love of Christ. You will hear from Henry Lu about the many opportunities to share Christ to the new Cantonese immigrants in the UK. You will from Lydia who is studying Childrens Education not to get a job in the U.S. but to return to her country of Myanmar which is in the midst of a war. You will hear from Dr. Grace May, Boaz Tingson, and Kenny Chau about University students turning to Christ. And you will hear from our sister Esther touching the lives of children in the Middle East.
You are going to hear how the missionaries that we partner with are living Psalm 126:5,6. These brothers and sisters “sow in tears” as they anticipate joyful shouting, I am sure that you remember what I wrote in May, “the most important requirement for a missionary is not more sweat, it is more tears.”
I want to encourage every brother and sister in our church to attend ALL FOUR WEEKS of our Mission month. Come and here YOUR missionaries. Come and pray for YOUR missionaries. Come and weep with YOUR missionaries. Come and learn what it means to “Just Sow It.”
