Erin was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Though she is Korean, having grown up close to Brooklyn’s Chinatown, she’s quite fluent in Chinese food. She was first invited to Zion fellowship in 2009 and attended Urbana later that year where she committed to serve God wherever He led. After graduating in 2011 with degrees in Visual Arts and Psychology, she knew she didn’t want to pursue a career in those fields. With a love and desire to work with infants and young children, she tried her hand in various areas, but God opened her heart to work with teens in the process. Erin graduated from Alliance Theological Seminary in 2021 with a MA in Biblical Literature with an Old Testament concentration. Erin loves walking the Brooklyn Bridge, learning new things (preferably not by reading), devouring spicy foods, and spending time with her dog.
